Vested Interest in K9's and the Pet Connection & Rescue Show have partnered to raise funds to provide ballistic vests for K9s throughout our Tri-State area (Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana). In most cases law enforcement agencies do not have budgets to provide vests for their four legged K9 officers. To date, in 2013, 17 K9s have lost their lives in the line of duty in the U.S.A. Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit fundraising organization dedicated to providing bullet and stab protective vests for law enforcement K9s throughout the United States. VIK9s exclusively offers a state of the art bullet and stab protective vest, made in the United States, that offers ultimate protection for the K9. Each vest costs $950.00 and has a retail value of $2,800.00. The vest has a 5-year warranty. For more information on VIK9s and the vests provided, click here.
